0 – Zero (Ze-Ro)
In a marine context, “0 – Zero” refers to the code flag that represents the numerical value of zero. In international maritime signal flag communication, each number from 0 to 9 is represented by a specific code flag, with “0 – Zero” being the flag with a solid blue field. These code flags are used for various communication purposes, such as indicating numerical values, positions, or messages between vessels or between a vessel and shore.
